Easy to make using dried shrimp and frozen mix vegetables. I will give two recipes using different sauteing ingredients: cooking oil and chilli oil.
Version 1 : Cooking oil
Ingredients
- 2 red onion
- 1 garlic
- 2 tablespoon cooking oil
- 2 teaspoon of dried shrimp (soaked for 30 minutes)
- 1 plate rice
- 1 cup mix vegetable
- pinch of salt
Instructions
Pound the red onion and garlic using mortar and pestle until you get a paste.
In a wok, pour the cooking oil and heat it up for 15 seconds.
Then, put in the dried shrimp that has been soaked into the wok. Stir-fry the dried shrimp for 1 minute.
Afterwards, add rice into the wok. Mix it well for five minutes.
Add in mix vegetable and salt. Cook for another five minutes.
Nasi Goreng Udang Kering is ready.

Version 2 : Chilli oil.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon chilli oil
- 2 tablespoon dried shrimp (soaked for 30 minutes)
- 1 cup mix vegetable
- 1 plate rice
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
Preheat chilli oil and add soaked dried shrimp into the wok.
Add rice and mix evenly for 3 minutes. Make sure the rice and dried shrimp mix well.
Then add mix vegetable and salt. Cook for five minutes.
Nasi Goreng Udang Kering is ready.
