Stories From COCAKERY Cottage
Over the last weekend, COCAKERY received three custom orders from three different individuals.
Although each customer came from a different background and requested cakes with different colour palettes and designs, their purpose was the same: to celebrate the birthdays of their loved ones.
These are a few of the stories that catch our hearts as we prepare the order.
A Husband’s Simple Yet Thoughtful Surprise
A gentleman wants to celebrate his wife’s birthday and dropped by our COCAKERY Cottage. His request was simple yet thoughtful. He wanted a chocolate cake with a customised message “wife” with a love emoji.
There was something very sincere about the request. No extravagant design, no complicated theme. Just a husband wanting to make his wife smile on her special day.
Sometimes, the simplest requests carry the deepest meaning.
Thus, we baked and designed a Mini Flower Basket Cake with his message.
A Father Celebrating His Son’s First Birthday
Another order came from a father who wanted to celebrate his son’s turning one year old. He requested a 7-inch birthday cake and also asked for a small appreciation card for the teachers with the words “Happy Teacher’s Day.”
What made this order special was the thoughtfulness behind it. While ordered for his son’s birthday celebration, he also remembered the teachers who played a role in caring for and educating his child.
As a small handmade bakery, these stories are what continue to inspire us to keep baking, decorating and improving our craft.
Every flower, every message written and every cake box prepared carries a little hope and love from someone to their loved ones. 🙂
