Kari Ikan

Traditionally, curry is a bit messy to make. The Spicy Chilli Oil MadeByNor simplifies the method but the same result as you make it through a complicated way.

Kari Ikan Spicy Chilli Oil 

Fish Curry


  • 5 tablespoon Spicy Chili Oil MadeByNor
  • 2 pieces ikan tenggiri 
  • ½  teaspoon salt
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • 150ml water 
  • 5 lady’s fingers
  • ½ cup fish curry powder
  • Curry leaves
  • 2 tamarind slices


Steps 1: Clean the fish and slice the lady’s finger.

Steps 2: Mix curry powder with little water to make a paste.

Steps 3: Heat Spicy Chilli Oil and saute the curry paste with curry leaves.

Steps 4: Add water and put the fish in the mixture.

Steps 5: Add in lady’s fingers and tamarind slice. 

Steps 6: Pour in coconut milk, water and salt. Mix well.

Steps 7: Fish Curry is ready.

  1. This looks really good! And I always love how there are different names for foods that are eaten around the world. I call them Okra and you call them Lady Fingers. That’s awesome lol
