Hello! My name is Nor Aziah.
I am the founder of Halaman Sihat Enterprise and hold a degree of Bachelor in Mass Communication (Journalism) from UiTM. I had practised in mainstream local newspapers for 39 years.
When I was young, I used to learn to cook Malay food from my late mother. Having an early exposure had made people in my neighbourhood trust me to prepare Malay food for 50 guests using my own recipe. Receiving positive feedback from people has encouraged me to continue to learn.
Slowly the number has increased to 200 guests. The dishes that I cooked such as Nasi Ambeng, Mee Rebus, Rendang, Chicken Rice, Ketupat and Kuzi Lamb.
Now, I have cooked Malay food for 38 years and am still learning.
The reason write about Malay food
When I was browsing the Internet to look for articles about Malay food, I realised there is inadequate information that one can find. Thus, using my skills in writing and armed with my cooking experiences, I decided to contribute by writing about Malay Food.Therefore this website is dedicated to this topic as a reference for the younger generation to know about their own food culture.
